Satine & Christian

Despite their tragic love story, one saying rings true for this couple--the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Satine is the beautiful courtesan of the Moulin Rouge, the Sparkling Diamond, who steals the show every night. Her entire life has been devoted to being someone she is not until she meets Christian, an aspiring young poet, who changes her life forever.

The two go beyond the limits to be with each other and would risk everything for the sake of love.

Sakura & Syaoran

At first the couple doesn't get along with each other, but in time they gradually become close friends. And out of friendship blossoms a new and deep love.

Sakura is a young Cardcaptor, who later becomes the master of the cards. Syaoran, who was once after the cards, helps Sakura in her quest to capture all the cards and change them into Sakura cards.

Syaoran's realization of his love for Sakura is met with some confusion, deep thought, and finally acceptance. He never really anticipated on falling in love with her until he started seeing the wonderful qualities Sakura naturally possessed.

Sakura's affections for Syaoran takes a little longer to realize than it does for him. She herself is a little unsure and confused by the new feelings she has towards Syaoran. In time, however, she is certain of her love for him. And for the two, it's only the beginning of their love story.

Anya & Dimitri

Here's another couple who doesn't get along during their first encounter, and is almost reminiscent of Usagi's and Mamoru's first meeting. Like any typical love story, opposites do eventually attract and can almost be impossible to ignore the growing affection that goes with it.

Anya is a young orphan girl trying to find her home and family. With her necklace as her only clue, she's determined to go to Paris and start her search there.

Dimitri is a con artist looking for a girl to pass off as the Grand Duchess Anastasia in order to collect the prize money offered to anybody who can find her. When he meets Anya, he can't believe the similarity she has to the real Anastasia. He convinces her to go with him to Paris with a cover story that her family could be anybody even of royal blood.

Together, they learn the true meaning of home, love, and family. But perhaps the biggest lesson they learn is not everything is worth the money, titles, or all the jewels in the world when love is at hand.

Michiru & Haruka

This couple shows the true meaning of what devotion, sacrifice, and tender love means.

Michiru is an elegant musician and painter whose beauty is as gentle and as calm as the sea. As Sailor Neptune, she proves to be a force to be reckoned with and doesn't let her serene demeanor or beauty fool anyone.

Haruka is a race car driver whose tomboyish looks and attire can fool anyone into thinking she is a handsome boy. On the race track, she's as swift as the wind. As Sailor Uranus, she is a fierce fighter who never holds back in a fight.

Together, the two work as a team and do not hesitate to sacrifice their life for the other. They compliment each other in every way and can bring out the best in each other.

Miaka & Tamahome

This couple surpasses time, space, and boundaries just to be together.

Miaka is an ordinary school girl just trying to pass her way through her school entrance exams. As if that's not enough to worry about, she gets sucked into a book set in ancient China and becomes the Priestess of Suzaku. Miaka's journey into 'The Universe of the Four Gods' is filled with adventure, romance, magic, and danger, which helps her grow and mature into a young woman.

Tamahome is one of Miaka's handsome and charming protectors. On the surface he seems to care only for money, but underneath his intentions are pure. He is devoted to taking care of his family and helping out in any way he can. Upon meeting Miaka, he finds himself giving in to love and knowing the pain and joys that come with it.

The couple's love story isn't exactly smooth sailing from the start, and there are times when things try to come between them. Yet, however great their trials and anguishes may be, they always find a way back to each other and further strengthen the bond of love even more.

Tsukasa & Ryuji

Since this couple was chosen by my friend, Kuris-chan, I'm just going to rewrite what she said about them here.

Ryuji is the next head leader of a huge Yakuza while Tsukasa's dream is to be like her parents, the best law enforcer in the world! A lot of circumstance, great action, and some good old fashion mystery occur with this couple.

Tsukasa's parents have recently past away on the job, leaving her and her three brothers with nothing. This leads Tsukasa to become desperate as she confronts her classmate, Ryuji, and tells him she knows who killed his father! As the story goes on, Ryuji somehow takes Tsukasa on as a bodyguard. Ryuji uses an incredible debt accumulated by her brothers to keep her next to him. He always makes sure that her and her family is well cared for.

The circumstances of Ryuji's family and obligations throws them into a whirlwind of death, pain, and loss. And through it all they have remained strong as a couple. One of the few couples you'd still want to see bickering long after they're together.
